Without Warning

Without Warning is a novel that occurs entirely over a day, precisely twelve hours. Having discovered that terrorists have infiltrated a chemical plant, a team of three men goes inside to eliminate the threat. Along the way, three of the general public participate in the operation in some capacity. One is a security guard, another is a secretary, and the third is a cameraman who survived a crash in his news chopper after it was hit by a surface-to-air missile fired by the terrorists. The crash occurred after the terrorists fired the rocket from the ground. While everyone else is focused on getting out of there and rescuing as many hostages as they can spread out across the plant, the cameraman is more concerned with getting the story and staying alive. There are six characters that the player can control, but the gameplay twist is that none of them communicate with one another directly. Despite this, there will be multiple instances during each character’s segment in which they will see other people or the results of their actions, such as observing a firefight from a distance.
